                                                                     Inner Wheel Club of Bathavon

Welcome to The Bathavon Inner Wheel web site.

The club was founded in 1981 and I have recently taken over as president.

We meet every second Wednesday in the month mainly at The Old Mill Hotel, Batheaston, but occasionally at member’s homes or other venues.

I have pleasure in giving details below of the activities our club hope to hold. In addition we have coffee mornings, friendship and pub lunches.

Our plans for 2010/11 include:-

7^th August visit to Arundells Salisbury

 11^th August 2010 visit to Masonic hall Bath for a guided tour and lunch at the Bear Hotel. Bear Flats.

8^th September Old Mill Batheaston speaker Gail Tucker(Food in Miniature)

13^th October 2010 Charter Night at The Old Mill-Husbands, partners and guests invited.

10^th November Old Mill Batheaston speaker on Guide Dogs for the Blind

13^th December Christmas Dinner with Bath Inner Wheel at Bath Golf Club.

 At the monthly meetings we aim to have a speaker and cover many topics throughout the year.

 We work together with The Bathavon Rotary Club on various ventures in addition to having our own projects.

My chosen charity for this year is Dorothy House Hospice Care and our aim is to raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.

We are a friendly group who always like to welcome new members and guests. Inner Wheel is now greatly extended beyond that of a wife or partner of a Rotarian.
